This page is dedicated to my audio essay which deals with the notion of audio documentary. As this term draws to a close and the documentary process comes to an end, an oppertunity arises to look back and reflect not necessarily on the work we have produced, but on the actual processes that take place within the making of audio documentaries. Instead of writing your generic academic style essay, we have decided to incorporate actual audio in what we have termed an 'audio essay'. Along with audio clips, I have included a written blog on how qualitative research has informed my philosophy as well as a side-bar consisting of a few terms which I feel needed elaboration and can be used as guidelines when reading my essay.

- As a fourth year radio student the time has come to take the work we produce a little more seriously, to spend more time on projects and reflecting on them. As a student, keeping a blog is often not as high on the priority list as other past time activities. However, the realisation hits you that in a few months, give or take, it’ll be time to enter the real world. So this blogstie will be used as a platform for me to reflect on, update and share the radio production work that I am working on in my fourth and final year as a radio journalism student.
